With school being right around the corner, one of the hardest things is deciding on what to wear on your first day/first week. You don’t want to wear all your new items or look like you’re trying too hard but still want to make a great impression. What I’ve always relied on are denims- that helped me from middle school to college life. They are so versatile and can be styled in so many ways. One of my favorites places to do my back to school shopping is the largest outlet mall in Maryland, Arundel Mills Mall. It has over 200 retail stores and since it’s an outlet mall, you get a lot of good deals and varieties of stores. This week is tax-free week, wooahh!! It started on Sunday and ends this Saturday. Instead of going to 2-3 different malls to looking for things, Arundel Mills has everything you need. Some of my favorite stores to visit when I’m there are Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic, BcbgMaxazria, H&M, Coach, Forever21, J.Crew Factory, Victoria’s Secrets, nd the Nike Outlet store. When you need a break from shopping, there are also lots of nice restaurants- 3 of my favorites are Sbarro Pizza, Nandos and Buffalo Wild Wings. Make sure you head over to the mall for your back to school shopping.
I styled 2 outfits around my favorite- blue denim. The dress comes with big pockets and fringed details so it’s not your average denim dress and I styled it with a choker. This also passes the fingertip rule and isn’t too short for those that attend strict schools. What I love the most about this dress is that you can snack all day and eat as much as you want for lunch without having to suck in your stomach (:. The denim pants and top is a cool, relaxed look that can be worn like this or tucked in if you don’t want to show off your stomach. These looks aren’t only for students; teachers can also wear these looks.
