What to Wear: Fashion Interview

One of my friends had an interview with a major fashion company about 2 weeks ago and the outfit set below was what I suggested.  The great thing about an interview with a fashion company is that you have more flexibility in your outfit choices because they want to know that they aren’t only hiring the best candidate for the job but also the most fashionable.  It ‘s important to keep in mind that even though you are able to show your personal style, you have to stay aligned with the store’s style.  With a store like Ann Taylor Loft or J.Crew, it would be okay to mix prints and maybe wear something with vibrant colors but with stores like Banana Republic or Louis Vuitton you want to be more streamlined, clear and classic.  As with any interview do your research and look the part.
