Hi guys, I can’t believe we are just a few hours away from 2014.  This year has been a very exciting one, both for the blog and personally and part of that is because of you.  I’ve experienced a lot of growth and had many opportunities that I never expected so soon. Working with companies like Refinery29, Lancome, Maybelline, Old Navy and BCBGeneration was like a dream come true and I’m excited to see what the New Year has in store. Some of my highlights were being featured in the Washingtonian Magazine and being followed by Brandy and Rita Dominick on Instagram (lol I know, groupie love).   Speaking at the Style Blogger of Color Conference in Miami was a humbling experience.

I’m not the best at responding on my social media accounts due to time constraint but I do read and appreciate all the comments.  An example of one is… what Izandra Williams wrote on my Facebook page this month, it literally brought tears to my eyes.

I’ll like to thank everyone that work behind the scene, Michelle Aka Mikki, Kemi, Femi Aka PaOsin and Anene, I really appreciate all that you do!! Most importantly I thank God, my family and my friends. Cheers to a new year and just remember, never give up, delay is not denial and hard work really pays off.
