Birthday Girl: Twenty Six

Hi guys, Today, I am officially 26 years old.  I don’t even know where to start (Pheww)

I’m just so grateful for everything God has been doing in my life.  Without Him, I am nothing and would not have even made it to this day.  I’m  so  grateful for life and how far He has brought me and I know He is not finished.

With each birthday, I reflect on many things- my life, family, friends and goals I have for the future.  Sometimes, I can be a bit hard on myself but when I look back, the progress I have made amazes me.  As the saying goes “I may not be where I want to be but I am [definitely] not where I used to be.” One of the good things about growing older is the process of maturing that comes with it.  It involves realizing what is truly important in life and allowing trivial things to become non-issues. What I used to take for granted are now more appreciated and I am grateful for this.

With that being said, Happy Birthday To Me!!!

I’m 26, I know I’ve grown but I still feel like me. Hopefully I’ll start feeling different, in a good way soon (lol).

Thanks to my wonderful friend Funke for making me this beautiful gown.  We (really her- lol) were up till almost3 am on Saturday putting it together.  Also special thanks to my girl Joanie for helping me with my floral Birthday Pinatas.
