Option #1
Ingredients
- Whole Tilapia
- Garlic Cloves
- Black Pepper
- 1/2 Canola Oil
- 1 tsp Suya Pepper (optional)
- 1 Tomato
- 2 Bell Peppers
- ½ Onion
- 1 Habanero (optional)
Instructions
- Wash Fish
- Dry with paper towel
- Make deep incisions so that seasoning goes inside
- Marinate the fish with seasoning
- Wrap fish in aluminum foil
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Cook for 15 mins
- If there is water, pour out and place back in oven
- Broil both sides for 3-5 mins each
Pepper Sauce
- Heat oil on low heat
- Add 1/3 cup of diced onions
- Cook until brown
- Add blended pepper
- Season to taste (knorr maggi + salt)
- Cook for 10-15 mins on medium heat
Serving
Jasmine Rice + Fried Plantain + Fish
Option #2
Ingredients
Same as option #1 with more additions
- Ginger
- Thyme
- Curry Powder
Instructions
- Wash Fish
- Dry with paper towel
- Make deep incisions so that seasoning goes inside
- Blend pepper
- Season fish with blended pepper
- Wrap fish in aluminum foil
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Cook for 15 mins
- If there is water, pour out and place back in oven
- Broil both sides for 3-5 mins each
Blended Pepper
- 2 Habanero Peppers (optional)
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 3/4 Onion
- Gloves of Garlic
Serving: Fried Plantain + Tilapia
Same as option one only difference is that you would season the fish with the blended pepper
