Happy New Year from my family to yours!!!
I’m wearing Cult Gaia Shannon Dress in a medium, it comes in many pretty colors- here is the black. So far I have two colors in this style- orange and cream. I’m thinking about getting another color but that might be an over kill lol.
This year I want to be more intentional with my life- this includes my brand, relationships, what goes in my body, what comes out of my mouth etc. I’m determined that 2021 is going to be the best year of my life by the grace of God. On today’s blog post, I’m sharing some of the things I intend on working on this year in order to have a fulfilling year ahead. I’m a firm believer that good habits come from taking small steps and that is exactly how I intend on tackling my goals this year. The most important thing for me is for my goals to be aligned with what God has planned for me.
Time Management
Everyone knows that I’m horrible at keeping to time and it was all fun and games when I was younger but not anymore. The older I get, the more I find this to be embarrassing and I’m determined to work on this in 2021. Being punctual has a different meaning for me as I get older, it means that I’m dependable, a woman of my word and someone who respects everyone’s time. Be less prideful
Someone gave me a motto to stand by this year and it’s to “start being shameless with my business.” Many times, I want to reach out to certain or companies and I let the fear of rejection or what people would say deter me, who cares? I’m praying to God for more courage this year and do what I have to do in order to have a successful year
Giving
I’m naturally a giver but I want to be more intentional about this. The bible says it’s better to give than to receive and that is my new attitude. What is the point of me working hard and praying to God for blessings if I won’t be a blessing unto others.
Trying new things
I want to step outside my comfort zone and try new things- some by myself and the rest with friends and family. My creativity has increased since the pandemic, not being able to do many things has got my brain thinking of many ideas. This month, I’m going to create a mood board, I’ve been advised to do this for some years now and I’m finally excited to do it.
I plan on leaning on God’s word in Proverbs 19:21: Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
