One of the questions I get asked frequently is what type of foundation I wear. I have about seven but four has been on heavy rotation since Summer. I’ve been wearing all the foundations listed on this post and I love that they look great on brown women. If you struggle with dry skin like me, these are all perfect foundations for you.

Bobbi Brown skin long-wear weightless foundation is perfect for someone who doesn’t have a lot of blemish and wants lightweight foundation. It doesn’t feel “cakey” or heavy and is good for all types of skin. This is my go-to because I don’t like heavy makeup and it lasts all day. I typically buy this foundation stick but recently bought the pump for the first time. I wear n-100 neutral chestnut and it’s retailed at $47.
Mary Kay was my first ever foundation to buy and I still love it. My only issue is not knowing my correct shade, the one I have is a little too dark for me (bronze 708); so I usually mix with my clinique foundation. It looks really great on brown skin women and is similar to Bobbi Brown in being lightweight. It’s medium coverage,  gives a red undertone and last all day. It’s retailed at between $22 and $25 but can only be purchased through an independent Mary Kay beauty consultant.
Clinique beyond perfecting Foundation + concealer is a little different from Bobbi Brown and Mary Kay. I typically apply a little because it’s full coverage and can easily cake up your skin. If you use the right amount, it gives a dewy finish- which I love. I’m actually wearing clinique foundation in these photos. I wouldn’t recommend this foundation to someone with oily skin. This is perfect for me because I have really dry skin and I get a lot of wear out of this during Winter. I shy away from wearing this a lot during the Summer because it makes my face very oily. I wear color WN 122 Clove: rich brown shade and it’s retailed at $29.50.
Black Radiance true complexion BB cream is perfect for anyone who isn’t huge on wearing makeup. It is very light but still able to cover blemishes and blends perfectly with my skin tone. It literally looks like you don’t have any foundation on and cost less than $10.
Nars radiant creamy concealer was added to my makeup routine about a month ago and I LOVE IT! I was tired of using concealer that was lighter than my skin tone. I bought the mini one because I wasn’t sure that I would like and I’m glad it worked out. I don’t have dark circles but have sunken when I don’t get enough rest and this has been a life saver. I wear the dark 0 chocolate color and it retails between $13 and $30.
